This park is known for its 28-foot climbing structure , complete with crazy tall lookout points and a GIANT tube slide that dips down from the top lookout. It also has lots of grass, a beautiful creek and bridge, perfect for littles, and nice restrooms.
Overall, Playfoam Pals provided my kids with a lot opportunities fun and creativity. My 2 year old liked to squish it and roll it, while my 4 year old enjoyed making little houses for the animals. And it apparently never dries out and can be used a bunch. #winning.
Cayucos Beach is one of our faves for taking little kids to the beach because it has free parking, public bathrooms, an outside shower spout for rinsing off, lifeguard towers and …. it also has a playground right on the sand!
Overall, we really wanted to like this Toy Tool Workshop Work Bench Set from PicassoTiles, but in my honest toy review opinion, there’s room for improvement on the stability and storage capabilities of the workbench. And I’d also raise the recommended age from 3+ to 5+.
Centennial Trail is a roughly 1 mile stretch of flat, paved pathway from Lana Street to Mohawk Court on the city’s east side. The trail is stroller-friendly and completely off-road. The trail also features a seasonal creek, a canopy of beautiful twisty oaks and spots to see deer. The trail is popular with joggers and dog walkers, but we like to buddy up when venturing anywhere off-road or out of view of others.
