Downtown Paso Robles’ Carnegie Library may just be one of the most picture-perfect backdrops for your kiddo adventures in the city, but it’s also a treasure trove of stories.
The public is invited to “Take a Book, Share a Book” at the Paso Robles Children’s Museum’s Little Free Library now installed at 623 13th St. in downtown Paso Robles, Calif. Designed by American company Simplay3, this Sharing Library is a modestly-sized box on a stand that reaches nearly 5 feet tall and features a clear plexiglass door so the books stored inside are clearly visible. All you do is open the little door to take a book + leave a book.
After being under construction for what felt like forever, the Thelma Vetter Red Panda Experience is now open. And thank goodness, because those little cinnamon-tufted mammals are our favorite!
While Studios on the Park is a welcome respite for art-lovers amid downtown’s bustling tasting rooms, shops and eateries, it’s also a fun spot for your littlest downtown-goers.
DAY 4 in our #CentralCoastTopNineWonders series takes us along the vast coastline adjacent to Morro Rock at Morro Strand State Beach. This three-mile stretch of coast is my favorite beach. It has sand dunes, the famous snowy plover and prime sanddollar-hunting at low tide.
DAY 3 of our #CentralCoastTopNineWonders is …. iconic Morro Rock.
I’ve always been so in love with this geological staple on our coast. It makes a fantastic backdrop for photos of the kids, and can be seen far away in the distance.
Coming in on DAY 2 of our #CentralCoastTopNineWonders Kiddo Edition are the Nine Sisters mountain range!
The Nine Sisters is a chain of rocky peaks from SLO to Morro Bay that is easily the most distinctive geological landmark welcoming people to our area.
Taking the DAY 1 spotlight of our #CentralCoastTopNineWonders (kiddo edition) is … Atascadero’s Historic Administration Building!
Built in 1918, this impressive 65,000-square-foot structure is a surprising find in small-town Atascadero California.
I’m seeing #TopNine posts popping up left and right on Instagram lately. Sick of them yet? 😂. Because just when you thought they FINALLY were over … I’m bringing you one more set.
But don’t worry, it’s not a look back. It’s a plan. A plan for adventure. And I call that plan … California’s Top Nine Wonders – Kiddo Edition.
Mission San Miguel is a surprisingly fun activity for kids – who knew? There’s space to explore, it’s inexpensive, and hey – it’s great for pictures. #goals.
