We love checking out new playgrounds with our kids too! Gig Harbor has such a great selection of outdoor spaces for families. We recently started a garden project at home and the kids have been so excited to help plan the layout – it has been a wonderful way to get them outdoors and away from screens. Would love to hear if you have any recommendations for kid-friendly community gardens in the area!
We love finding new playgrounds too! Thanks for putting together this directory, it is super helpful for families in the area. We visited a couple of these last weekend and the kids had a blast. The one near the waterfront was our favorite. Definitely bookmarking this for our next adventure!
What a great list! We just moved to Gig Harbor last month and have been looking for fun playgrounds to take our two kids. The Finholm View climb looks amazing – my 7-year-old would absolutely love that. We actually found a local events website called vidglory that has been super helpful for discovering family-friendly activities in the area too. Bookmarking this post for sure!
Great list of playgrounds! We recently moved to the area and have been looking for exactly this kind of resource. Our kids are already asking when we can visit the waterfront one — it looks amazing from the photos. Also, if anyone is looking for easy ways to capture and enhance family photos from these playground outings, I’ve been using Pictro to make our everyday snapshots look really polished. Such a fun way to document all these outdoor adventures!
