We made it to Washington! 🌲
For those just tuning in here, Bowen and I decided to move from California to Washington during the pandemic.
Here’s the 1970s cabin we’re staying in while our Paso house gets listed, sells, and we do some actual house hunting.
It’s situated on a golf course and apparently, little deer come up to the porch to say hi. The house has been in Bowen’s family and it’s fun to think of all the memories created here through the generations. The house even comes with a golf cart! Look out, world, we’re on the go (with two in tow) 🙂
We drove here over two nights /three days in the CR-V and VW. Our driving stints were from Paso Robles to Sacramento; Sac. to Medford Oregon; then Medford to Union Washington.
I drove in my VW with the kittens in a bag and Taylor Swift and my sanity while Bowen was in the CR-V with the kids! Not sure how I won that lottery – but I’m takin’ it! 🙌🏻.
We’re listing our Paso house this week (we wanted to move out first so we didn’t have to do showings during Covid) and so far we’re just settling in and keeping up with these two crazies.
I’ve only been to this cabin one other time, when Bowen and I very first started dating in 2005 or 2006 and I remember it so vividly because we had a sweet moment one morning where we whispered all the reasons we loved one another. 🥰.
And now look at us! This Friday is our 9th wedding anniversary, and then September will be our 15 years together anniversary.
Being in Washington and seeing Bowen in his element the last few days is giving me all the feels in why I fell head over heels for him in the first place. Aw.
