Bethel Park, Templeton

Bethel Park, TempletonHere’s a park I didn’t know existed until I had to drag the kids to a doctor’s appointment with me in Templeton.

But what a nice surprise! The whole perimeter wall is a giant fish sculpture that the kids liked to climb on.

Overall, it’s a cool spot with pine trees, a slide/swings/climber and also an adorable swinging patio bench seat which I’ve never seen in a park before.

This park is open daily from 8 a.m. until sunset.  It’s split in two sections, so make sure to walk the sidewalk around to the other side. Here’s some more info.

  • Restrooms
  • Sports field located on the lower section
  • Playground in the upper section
  • Basketball hoop in the upper section
  • Grass area in the upper section

  1. “I can’t believe how much Bethel Park has grown over the years! It’s a go-to spot in Templeton for families and anyone looking to unwind. I love the balance it strikes—plenty of open space for picnics and games, but still cozy enough to feel like a community gathering spot. Is anyone else hoping for a few more amenities there, maybe even some small event space? Imagine hosting more local gatherings or music nights under the stars. It’s a perfect spot for Templeton locals to gather, connect, and make memories. Who else has a favorite Bethel Park moment?”
