This is #momlife

Mom at the beach hauling all her kids toysThis is mom life. REAL mom life.

It’s hauling all your kids sh*t through the hot sand back to the car, exhausted and hungry after a beach day.

It’s not eating or drinking enough water because you give it all to your kids.

It’s relishing the 10 rare minutes where your sweet friend takes your oldest seashell hunting with her baby so you and your 3 year old can have a sweet moment talking and cuddling in the sun.

And when the tide accidentally washes on all your stuff, It’s you literally dragging sandy, wet towels that weigh at least 37 lbs (😂🤷🏼‍♀️) until the bag straps dig into your hand.

It’s mamas trading off solo mad dash pee trips with watching each others kids so they don’t monkey climb the urinals.

It’s friends taking pictures of all this for one another bc they so GET IT! 📷: @seven.ducklings

  1. Thank you for putting yourself out there and showing the not-so-glamourous sides of motherhood in some of your posts! It’s nice to know we’re all in it together.

  2. I love this post and this picture. It is so real. Doing anything with the kids I feel like a pack mule. I told my partner once that I really don’t enjoy outings because they are soooooo much work, but my kids do. And they just see the fun they have, and that’s worth it to me.
