Centennial Trail, Paso Robles

Centennial Trail is a roughly 1 mile stretch of flat, paved pathway from Lana Street to Mohawk Court on the city’s east side. The trail is stroller-friendly and completely off-road. The trail also features a seasonal creek, a canopy of beautiful twisty oaks and spots to see deer. The trail is popular with joggers and dog walkers, but we like to buddy up when venturing anywhere off-road or out of view of others.

Two In Tow & On The Go_Morro Bay with kids

The Morro Bay Embarcadero with Kids

Exploring the Morro Bay Embarcadero with kids is one of our hands-down favorite adventures. So much so, I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to write about it. This day includes rides, treats, pretty views, TAFFY and a chance to feed some awesome seals.

This adventure takes you to the lovely sea fishing town of Morro Bay, California. It’s famous for the iconic Morro Rock, one of SLO County’s “Nine Sisters” of volcanic peaks stretching along Highway 1. Morro Rock is the only one of the peaks sitting in the water. Elsewhere, the city is made up of a small but vibrant downtown, homes, beach life and a bustling harbor. Along that harbor, you’ll find The Embarcadero.

Atascadero Give Fitness with Two in Tow _ Kiddos

Review: Give Fitness Health Club in Atascadero, introduction

For more than a year, I’ve been trying to wrangle fitness back into my life. To, you know, stay sane. And, to shed some of this craziness that two babies in four years has done to my body. What I’m talking about is consistently getting in a real workout two to three times a week. The kind of exercise that gets my heart rate up, makes some of that endorphin magic happen and unplugs me from the daily mom scene for at least 30 minutes.

Adventure Walk: Rolling Hills Road, Paso Robles

It’s raining today, but for when it clears up … here’s an easy outing for those of you looking to get out of the house: adventure walks! That’s where we go on a walk and take a basket to collect treasures we find on the ground. Sometimes I like to get in the car and find another neighborhood to walk in besides our own, because our neighborhood route gets old. One walk that we particularly like is the sidewalk along Rolling Hills Road.
