All in all, we have a lot of fun at The Slice Pizza & Games in Paso Robles. From a game featuring a giant Minion to a classic claw booth that dishes out a prize every time, I’m genuinely impressed by the business’ family-friendly atmosphere that’s welcoming but also modern.
In Family Yoga, Vanessa of Yaya Yoga ca teaches toddlers and preschoolers the perfect mix of movement, play and mindfulness from a yoga mat. Parents also participate in this class that may feature fun activities like crawling like forest animals, stomping like dinosaurs and playing toe-ga with fluffy little pom pom balls!
Here’s our review of taking kids to The Ravine Waterpark in Paso Robles.
Affectionally known around here as “The Dragon Park,” this playground is among the coolest in North County.
If you’re going to the California Mid Stare Fair with small children, I highly recommend heading to the entire Rancho Frontier area on the southwest side of the fairgrounds (South Gate area of Frontier Town) and making that your home base.
Here is a guest post I contributed this summer to Paso Robles’ official tourism website, TravelPaso.com:
When most people talk about their quintessential summer, I often hear about relaxing poolside getaways. But when I think about my own perfect summer staple – it’s all about Paso’s Concerts in the Park.
On my first visit to the Morro Bay Skateboard Museum, I went in knowing basically nothing about the sport. Afterward, I left enchanted with wooden boards, skating legends, and a newfound longing to run home and google all the lingo.
Plus, the kids and I got to pose on top of the world’s second-largest skateboard!
Here’s our June 1, 2018 column featured in PASO Magazine. It’s all about one of our fave kid-friendly walks in town, which leads to a neat display of public art!
I’m happy to share that the fine folks behind PASO Magazine (where we have a column) have created a second publication called Colony Magazine for our neighboring city of Atascadero!
And I’m absolutely honored for our Two in Tow column to be included in its inaugural issue published July 1, 2018!
As a SLO CAL Storyteller, the region’s tourism district will be arranging monthly adventures for us to try out along California’s awesome Central Coast. This ranges in anything from water excursions and horseback riding to nature tours in the backcountry expanses of our region. Then we will take pics and video along the way, write about it, and post it on our blog & theirs.
