Overall, these make for a fun craft that turns into a toy. For my kids specifically, I think this toy is a little too old for them. The box says ages 6+. So it’s too old for Wyatt (age 2) for sure, but Clara (age 4) was borderline able to assemble it with my help, which caused a lot of frustration for her because she wants to be able to do it herself. On the other hand, she really liked that the dolls were sparkly, pretty and that one of them involved her one true love – cupcakes. So for the price, it’s worth trying one out to see if your 4/5/6 year old can manage it.
Kids game company @Pressmantoy gifted us three kids games to review. In our house, Clara really loves “winning” so we pick the “everyone wins!” concept of gameplay and keep playing till everyone can have a turn at winning. Read on to take a look.
All in all, we have a lot of fun at The Slice Pizza & Games in Paso Robles. From a game featuring a giant Minion to a classic claw booth that dishes out a prize every time, I’m genuinely impressed by the business’ family-friendly atmosphere that’s welcoming but also modern.
In Family Yoga, Vanessa of Yaya Yoga ca teaches toddlers and preschoolers the perfect mix of movement, play and mindfulness from a yoga mat. Parents also participate in this class that may feature fun activities like crawling like forest animals, stomping like dinosaurs and playing toe-ga with fluffy little pom pom balls!
This was the very first ad I created for my blog two years ago.
In the beginning, I had structured the blog on reasons to get out of the house. Because inside the house, baby Wyatt would cry anytime I would try to finish ANYTHING if I wasn’t holding him.
Yep, even laundry. One time, I tried making eggs for myself with him in the Ergo and he bumped the burner up with his foot and almost caught us on fire. 😂 The JOYS of motherhood!
I can’t make this stuff up.
Here’s our review of taking kids to The Ravine Waterpark in Paso Robles.
When @tagalongkids contacted me to do a review on its innovative stroller handles, I knew we’d be fast friends. I’m always…
Designed by Hong Kong company @alilo.ig, this Happy Buddy Bunny is marketed as an interactive toddler toy that’s a “Built-in Music/Song/Bedtime Storyteller.” We were #gifted one bunny in exchange for our review. While it’s fun for its classic-sounding songs and drum beats, it’s high in price and the storytelling function has weird English translation.
Overall, this tent playhouse is a beautiful item. It satisfies all the things I look for in kids stuff: fun factor + style. AND it was so easy to put together. More on that below. But first back to the style … I like that it boasts the Scandinavian look I endlessly search for but is so surprisingly hard to find. And that scalloped roof detail is oh-so-sweet. That’s why I was so happy when I found Petite Maison — a company that just so happened to be looking to push an expansion into the U.S. this year. Woot.
We received an Octopus Hoopla bath toy compliments of Nuby in exchange for our honest review. And the verdict is … we love it! Overall, we highly recommend this for bath time since it can be used in a number of ways.
